Cary Flaum joins Shilo as Executive Producer and Head of Production

Shilo has announced that it has added veteran VFX producer and post-production supervisor Cary Flaum to its roster as executive producer and head of production.

"I have always been impressed and interested in Shilo's amazing creative over the years," commented Cary.

"Working with them on a freelance basis gave me close insight into their creative genius, and being asked to come on staff in the capacity to lead production is something I've been working toward my entire career. Leading Shilo's team in producing amazing work is an honor and privilege, and I look forward to the challenge."

A true master of production and post-production for film, TV commercials, broadcast, music videos and experiential projects of the highest order, Cary's expertise in VFX, design, motion graphics, CG and all facets of editorial and finishing allows him to take any project from camera through to spectacular completion.

Most recently he has been freelancing in his native New York City, working with top film studios, post houses and independent artists on one innovative project after another.

Among those, through Nice Shoes, he was the post producer for a 180-degree format live show open for Maybelline and for spots for Google TV, and he was the post-production supervisor for the immersive film experience directed by Kanye West from Good Company which premiered at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

Between 1999 and 2011, Cary built a solid track record for success in the film and television industry through senior staff production and management positions with Smoke and Mirrors, Perception, mad.house and Version 2.
