The Berlin Senate Department of Urban Development and the Environment is calling for entries for the second Urban Intervention Award Berlin and the new Urban Living Award.
The Urban Intervention Award Berlin aims to contribute significantly to the improvement of the quality of life in the urban environment and to stimulate processes of urban cooperation.
The award will recognize exemplary projects that contribute substantially to newly defining, revitalizing and upgrading inner-city neighborhoods.
The Urban Living Award 2013 will honor outstanding realized projects which are examples of excellent architecture in the area of forward-looking, integrative models for housing and living in conjunction with new innovative concepts of use and/or conversion, and which were developed through cooperation between partners coming from varying fields and disciplines.
The deadline for submissions is August 24, 2013.
