The 2014 Hike Conference, a one day, affordable conference for soon-to-be design graduates and new designers, will be held in San Francisco in April. The event will bring together speakers from Facebook, Dropbox, Adaptive Path and more.
Bridging the gap between school and career, Hike hopes to educate new designers on the ins-and-outs of the industry, while helping them find and secure the jobs they have worked so hard to achieve.
Founded in 2013, Hike Conference is a collaborative effort of The Secret Handshake and Form & Future. The Secret Handshake is a lecture series that's focused on students and other young creatives looking for insider info about going pro in the design industry.
Form & Future provides insightful interviews for new designers and hands-on events for new creators. Laura Helen Winn created F&F in 2013 to help newbies navigate their introduction to the industry with grace, while inviting makers to contemplate their craft.
