AIGA San Francisco has announced a series of Studio Tours taking place on June 17 and June 18 as part of San Francisco Design Week.
From June 17 through June 20, San Francisco Design Week will invite the public to celebrate the Bay Area's unique design talents, impact and innovations.
Studio Tours give the public a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of influential Bay Area design studios.
Guests have the opportunity to see projects in progress, learn about each firms' design process, experience their culture and gather together to celebrate San Francisco design.
The Studio Tours have three different routes that guests can choose from.
The Studio Tours on June 17 have two routes this year: the "Embarcadero - Financial District" and the "South of Market - China Basin" tours. The studios are in walking distance from each other along the routes so you can pick one route and follow it from the beginning to the end, or create your own route by visiting the studios you wish to tour.
One June 18, the "Mid-Market - Hayes Valley - Mission - Bernal Heights" tour starts in the Mid-Market area in the North and Bernal Heights in the South and ends in one center - Mission District (7 - 8 PM and 8 - 9 PM).
Start your tour in one of these locations and follow the route, or create your own route by visiting the studios you wish to tour.
