The AME Awards competition is now accepting entries. Since 1994, the AME Awards has honored campaigns world-wide that successfully demonstrate groundbreaking solutions to challenging marketing problems.
New Categories launched for 2014 include Augmented Reality, Technology, Social TV, Website, and Luxury Items.
The Augmented Realty category will recognize the marketer's ability to engage the consumer throughout the sales cycle via apps that encourage consumer interaction with brands via their mobile device.
The Technology category will honor creative campaigns that employ new technology or showcase innovative ways to use existing technology on behalf of the brand, and Social TV will salute effective strategies utilizing the technological union of television and social media.
"The AME Awards dedication to evaluating new trends and technologies that engage consumers have led to strategic changes aimed at recognizing and showcasing the World's Best Advertising and Marketing Effectiveness," commented Alisun Armstrong, Executive Director, AME Awards.
"It is AME's goal to honor campaigns that achieve specific marketing goals, coupled with an innovative solution to a marketing challenge accomplished through creative execution and critical planning."
The deadline to enter is October 31, 2014.
