The 2015 TypeCon will be held August 12-17 in Denver, Colorado. TypeCon is an annual conference presented by the non-profit Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA), an international organization dedicated to the promotion, study, and support of typography and related arts.
TypeCon covers an increasingly broad range of topics, including: typography; type design; font production; graphic design; digital media; printing history; calligraphy; lettering; book arts; advertising; wayfinding; type in motion; literacy; type sales and marketing; legal issues; design education; and other related areas.
Special events will include the tenth annual Type & Design Education Forum, keynotes presentations, and the international TypeGallery2015 exhibition.
Workshops, presentations, panel discussions, networking events, tours, and social gatherings will form a typographic adventure that will inspire you for years to come.
