Quadrangle Architects Win Arido Award for the Bespoke Retail Display System

Quadrangle Architects have won an Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) Award of Merit for the customizable merchandising system they designed for fashion collective Due West's flagship location at 431 Queen Street West. The ARIDO Awards showcase excellence, innovation and originality in interior design.

Quadrangle redesigned Due West's 2,750 square feet space, located in the heart of Queen West's clothing district, to reflect the fashion collective's updated brand and high quality merchandise. They transformed the store's entire volume into a single, fully customizable display-the unified metal system weaves its way around the store integrating lighting, walls, ceiling and merchandising fixtures, providing areas for dense merchandise and moments for curated visual vignettes. Quadrangle designed the flexible system to address the requirements of seasonal clothing sales-the bespoke merchandising system can be reconfigured in the spring and fall.
