The 2016 SEGD Conference: Experience Seattle will gather the experiential graphic design community to explore topics ranging from media-centric placemaking to design thinking and from public art to waterfront development.
"Seattle is no stranger to design and design innovation and we're excited to bring the 2016 SEGD Conference to this city that has had such a stake in shaping the definition of urban place," stated Clive Roux, CEO of SEGD.
"We always choose conference host cities with a strong legacy of communication design, art and placemaking in the built environment, and Seattle is a shining example. It's here, at the SEGD Conference, where experiential graphic designers gather to inspire one another, share best practices, and envision the future together. We think Seattle will be an amazing inspiration for our community."
The SEGD Conference is the only annual conference designed for creatives working in experiential graphic design. Headquartered at the Seattle Westin, the three-day educational event is designed to inspire, with a combination of practical, hands-on workshops (including SEGD's Experiential Learning for Practice series and Design Improv), the Young Designers' Summit, social and networking events and blue-sky sessions with top design thought leaders.
