Indidesign has just completed a multi-million dollar renovation and redesign of the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach, making it the largest HGI in history. Located walking distance from Waikiki beach and across from the International Marketplace, the hotel's new design incorporates well-known features of the Hilton Garden Inn as well as inspiration from contemporary Hawaiian culture.
The renovation included an upscale 5,900 square-foot lobby with ample seating and framed weavings and custom features like the ladderlike ceiling design and a herringbone accent wall; a brand-new circulation corridor to guide guests between hotel entrances, making movement seamless and intuitive; and playful-yet-approachable guestrooms that pay homage to the island's culture through color palette and materials inspired by the endemic nature.
