The James Beard Foundation (JBF) today announced that the call for entries for the 2017 Awards is officially open.
The James Beard Foundation's mission is to celebrate, nurture, and honor America's diverse culinary heritage through programs that educate and inspire.
The Restaurant Design Awards were established by the James Beard Foundation in 1994 and have become highly coveted by hospitality designers nationwide.
Any restaurant or design project completed or renovated in North America within three years prior to the year the award is being given is eligible.
The extended deadline for the Restaurant Design category is February 10, 2017.
