Huniford Design Studio was honored by the Americas Property Awards in the Interior Design Private Residence - New York category for its' 7 Bond Street residential project. Huniford Design Studio's eco-friendly penthouse was named among the most exceptional projects of 2016.
James Huniford, a renowned New York interior designer completed the penthouse for a client, a portfolio manager and published author on the subject of domestic sustainability and healthy living. Feng shui master Dee Kelly and Matthew Waletzke, a certified Building-Biology consultant, worked with Huniford to create an eco-friendly apartment, which incorporated the installation of electromagnetic frequency-blocking throughout. The use of non-toxic materials and reclaimed wood combined with raw and exposed materials were used to create a sensibility which emulated a Northern Californian design aesthetic - rugged and masculine with bohemian and earth toned accents.
