Designing the Glass Ceiling

Race, culture, and gender are influencing the makers of the design community and the International Interior Design Association's (IIDA) New York Chapter, wants to shatter the status quo at the upcoming Residential Forum: Designing The Glass Ceiling panel discussion.

On Tuesday, March 28th, the IIDA NY and a panel of five, top female designers will explore cultural diversity within the design community as they discuss the issues they face as women of color at the 3form New York showroom. The panelists will share the journeys of their still-evolving careers and honor unsung female designers of the past.

Rio Hamilton, Principal of Rio Hamilton Consulting will moderate panel, which will include Malene Barnett, Malene B. Bespoke Carpets/Cement/Tile/Wallpaper; Jennifer Graham, Perkins + Will; Gisue Hariri, Hariri & Hariri Architecture; Robin Wilson, Robin Wilson Home; and Jean Brownhill, Sweeten.
