imm cologne's 15th Pure Talents Contest is now open for submissions. The internationally renowned competition provides a career springboard for many young designers.
"15 years of the Pure Talents Contest - this is a milestone," commented Arne Petersen, Vice President, Trade Fair Management at Koelnmesse. "Supporting the next generation of creatives is something that is very close to our hearts. During imm cologne, talented young people present their visions and ideas. This is really important for the interiors industry. I personally look forward every year to the creativity and the innovation that I see in Hall 3.1."
This year's application procedure permits each participant to submit a maximum of three products in the categories of furniture, home accessories, lighting, flooring, wallpaper & textiles, kitchens & kitchen accessories, and smart home. The key criterion is that the designs should be no more than one year old and be in the prototype stage.
The entries will be assessed by a distinguished jury of designers, design journalists and experts from the interiors industry.
The deadline for submissions is September 22, 2017.
