The 5th Boston Design Week will take place April 4-15 and will once again be twelve days and city-wide. The overall theme of the 2018 festival is NOW, NEW, NEXT!, with a goal to highlight current, new, or future design in all design arenas.
In 2017 over 12,000 design enthusiasts attended more than 80 events that took place in 13 neighborhoods in Boston, and 14 towns in the greater Boston area. Proclaimed "Boston Design Week" by Mayor Martin J. Walsh, participants opened their doors to the public with exhibitions, panels, design contests, openings and other programs for families, professionals, and students.
