Recently STARR Restaurants tapped Sub Rosa to redesign a more user-friendly website for 33 of the restaurant group's restaurants across five cities. As the driving creative force behind the transformation, Sub Rosa created an engaging, easy-to-use and responsive digital experience reflective of STARR's commitment to elevated design and sophisticated showmanship.
The STARR parent website serves as a responsive vessel for showcasing the best features from all of the restaurants, allowing for site visitors to actively engage in what was formerly a passive digital experience. The simplified design creates an easier ecommerce interaction and streamlines the reservation booking process; instead of having to go to the restaurant site directly, visitors are able to make reservations directly on STARR's website through OpenTable.
Designed with an accessible UX platform, the website also unveils a new cohesive brand code and visual identity for the group. "Our main goal was to create an online experience that mirrors the immaculate experience of dining at the restaurants," explained Michael Ventura, founder of Sub Rosa.
