AIA NY Leaning Out VI - Women Making Moves

AIA NY Leaning Out VI: Women Making Moves

The New York AIA Global Dialogues Committee will host its sixth Leaning Out event on November 7, under the theme of 'Women Making Moves.'

At a time when slowly more and more women are ascending to the top positions at many established firms in design, development and construction, there are those who are inspired upon getting there to then take a leap into starting their own businesses from the ground up. What were the keys of their professional success before and now? What motivated them to go out on their own? How do they mentor and groom the next generation of future leaders?

The event will be moderated by Nnenna Lynch: Founder, XYLEM. Speakers include Audrey Matlock - Founder, Audrey Matlock Architect; Erleen Hatfield - Managing Partner, Hatfield Group; Wendy Evans Joseph - Founder, Studio Joseph; and Susi Yu - Head of Development, L&LMAG.
