Storefront Manitoba and The Winnipeg Trails Association have launched a design competition that invites design teams to submit proposals for a permanent bench to be located along the Trans Canada Trail.
Designers are asked to put their skills to work and challenge the concept of a 'common' bench. This design competition looks for intervention that has the power to stop people in their tracks and provide a place to wait, rest, read and more.
The deadline to submit proposals is February 13, 2019.
