Architecture and Design Film Festival LA 2019

Architecture & Design Film Festival LA 2019

The 2019 Architecture & Design Film Festival, the nation's preeminent film festival devoted to architecture and design, will return to DTLA for the third edition of ADFF:LA from March 13-17 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center.

The curated program will feature 22 films covering a range of topics, some directly related to LA like That Far Corner (a film about Frank Lloyd Wright's Maya-inspired houses, written & directed by LA's Chief Design Officer Christopher Hawthorne) and Frank Gehry: Building Justice (a film that explores prison design with students of SCI-Arc and Yale School of Architecture).

The festival will also host events, director Q&As and panel discussions throughout the five days with dynamic speakers including Frances Anderton, Edward Lifson and Kerry Brougher, director of the soon-to-open Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
