For a fourth year, Fresh Taiwan will exhibit at NY NOW in New York, showcasing products by ten emerging Taiwanese designers, including 22STUDIO, CELIA&PERAH, eguchi toys, Kamaro'an, Kanari, Mordeco, PAPER SHOOT, Studio Smoll, Yenchenyawan design studio, and ystudio.
Fresh Taiwan, organized by Taiwan's Ministry of Culture and executed by Taiwan Design Center, aims to elevate the profile of Taiwan's design industry at international trade fairs.
All 10 Fresh Taiwan design brands exhibiting at NY NOW Summer 2019 are material-led, each with their own unique style of Taiwanese minimalism. Almost all of their products are completely plastic-free, focusing instead on materials such as brass, concrete, Jesmonite, leather, and wood.
