Dezeen has announced its inaugural international architecture, interiors and design conference, to be held in London on October 30. The 'Dezeen Day' conference will highlight new talent from around the world, feature a keynote lecture from a leading international figure, and tackle key topics including circular design, new materials and education.
"Dezeen's mission is to set the agenda for the world's design community," said founder and editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs. "Dezeen Day will allow us to put our editorial values on a stage, where we will explore the most pressing issues facing designers."
The conference will feature a mixture of panel discussions, keynote lectures, interactive presentations and movie screenings. The event is also designed to appeal to business leaders, opinion formers, policy makers, media and anyone with an interest in the importance of design and how it can improve the world.
