The fourth annual Learn by Design competition returns to SXSW EDU 2020. Learn by Design celebrates the collaboration of designers and educators in the pursuit of design-based solutions to physical learning environments for improved outcomes.
The competition is open to projects ranging from conceptual to completed that enhances learning through physical design. Qualified projects will be considered in the following areas including, but not limited to learning spaces in support of early learning, K-12, higher education, and informal learning, including museums, libraries, community spaces, installations, and more.
Selected finalists will have the opportunity to share their design work with a judging panel of industry exports in front of a live audience. Please note that both creative and educators of all kinds are encouraged to apply.
The deadline for applications is November 3, 2019.
