OKHA has launched the Miles armchair with an evolved design take on its earlier classic. The new version maintains the lyrical character of the original while enhancing the visual dynamics of the design with a double bar in solid timber running from armrest to seat.
"I'm massively inspired by architecture, there is a genre of architecture that is at its core highly sculptural, where the structure is rooted in the expressivity of form... so you can say in a broader context that sculpture is a major influence, I love how pure form, line, and contour possess such emotive force," said OKHA director Adam Court.
The chair is available in a range of timber finishes as well as a broad selection of leathers.
