Juan Villanueva, a type designer at Monotype, has launched Type Crit Crew, a free resource for type design students to meet one-on-one with experienced type designers for virtual critiques.
To participate, all students need to do is take a look at the 'Type Crit Crew Spreadsheet' and reach out to a type designer of their preference for private, conversational and detailed feedback.
The service already has 48 designers signed up, and any experienced type designer is welcome to be a mentor.
