The 28th Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition is now open for submissions. This annual competition recognizes the exceptional work of North American architects and designers who feature Italian ceramic tiles in their institutional, residential or commercial spaces.
This year's edition introduces two new categories for single- and multi-family residential spaces. Also, for the second year in a row, the People's Choice Award will be given to a project that receives the most votes during a public voting period.
The jury will select winners in four built categories - Commercial, Institutional, Residential (Single-Family) and Residential (Multi-Family) - and one Student category. Winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Coverings 2021 in Orlando, FL and the chance to present their projects in front of design media at the show. Built-project winners will also enjoy a 5-day CEU trip to Bologna, Italy for Cersaie 2021 in September.
The extended deadline for submissions is April 1, 2021.
