Teknion Launches Playful Yet Practical Office Collection 'Routes'

Teknion has launched 'Routes,' a playful yet practical office collection designed in partnership with Pearson Lloyd. Comprising desks, tables, task chairs, lounge seating, screens, and accessories, all with their own individual character, the Routes family is designed to allow teams to create flexible, utility-driven, and engaging workspaces quickly and efficiently-breaking with convention and introducing a sense of play into the world of work.

The collection speaks to a growing market of enterprises that require user flexibility to transform a space quickly. The simplicity of the design and the easy specification also allows one to build up a complete workspace for a small, tight-knit studio or create casual "pop-up" work hubs across the expanse of a corporate headquarters.

With its versatility and modularity, Routes responds to trends in working culture that has been emerging over the past decade and which COVID-19's work-from-home revolution have accelerated. Although conceived and developed before the pandemic, the collection is perfectly suited to the post-COVID landscape, as it provides companies with the furniture they need to quickly and easily create adaptable zones where teams can come together to collaborate, share ideas, and work together to solve problems.

Sustainability considerations inform every item in the Routes collection-a big part of the decision to use tubular steel. As well as being robustly built to enjoy the maximum possible lifespan, each material and component used in Routes can be repurposed or recycled at the end of the furniture's life, part of the shift towards a circular economy.
