The Hub Reveals Lothian and Borders Police Corporate Identity

The Hub are in the latter stages of completing one of the UK's and Scotland's most significant corporate identity projects of 2008. The process began following a tender stretching throughout the against some of the most prolific creative agencies the UK has to offer.

The new identity for Lothian and Borders Police - the police force for Scotland's capital and home to some of the UK's most significant brands.

The identity is in response to a new approach to modern policing and in-line with Lothian and Borders Police's vision and values, a 21st century police service of international stature and status.

We developed an identity system, typographically, with a strong supporting colour palette, that allows flexibility and freshness.

The brief has seen Hub develop an entirely new identity, that extends across the whole organisation, from full vehicle fleets, uniforms, warrant cards, publications, online to the re-branding of all public areas.

David Clelland, Managing Director of The Hub, commented 'This has been a very exciting and creative led project, working with the whole organisation and all ranks. This has given us an invaluable insight into the inner workings of the police and the emergency services.

Design Guidelines are due for completion shortly with anticipated rollout over 2008.
