Solas Distillery Debuts Premium Craft Joss Vodka in Packaging, Brand Designed by Archrival

Solas Distillery has debuted Joss Vodka, with naming, branding and package design by agency Archrival.

Solas Vodka is targeted to trendy, young professionals between the ages of 24 and 35. "These are people who enjoy mixed drinks and are now earning enough money to upgrade from the well vodkas of their college days. This audience enjoys the clean taste of a premium vodka and Joss superbly fits the bill," said Clint Runge, creative director, Archrival.

"With a name meaning to be merry and fair, Joss presents a simple, strong sound, offering a hint of familiarity and a promise of style. While it might be the nickname of a good friend, Joss has enough presence to take over the party," Runge added.

Joss Vodka is distilled by Zac Triemert, one a few distillers in the U.S. with a Masters Degree in Distilling from Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Production of Joss includes multiple distillations in a distillation column designed by Triemert to produce extraordinarily pure vodka. The result is a pure, smooth pure vodka of the highest quality that's terrific straight up, in a martini or your favorite cocktail.

"We wanted the Joss brand identity and packaging design to reflect a glamorous and stylish attitude to appeal to connoisseurs of the hip and now," added Charles Hull, Archival president. "It is fashionable and relaxed; confident without being arrogant. It fits in with the scene and knows how to have a good time. In other words, Solas Vodka never lets you down."
