The RIBA ICE Bursary exists to support architectural and engineering students, graduates and newly-qualified architects and engineers committed to the progress of community and environmental issues in economically deprived areas in the UK or abroad.
The bursary supports individuals or teams for projects lasting between 6 and 12 months in communities where the focus is on improving or modifying the physical environment to enhance the quality of life for the local community.
In 2010 candidates are invited to put forward original project proposals or to develop proposals for projects contributing to already pre-existing initiatives.
One or more bursaries up to a total value of £15,000 will be provided to support an individual or a team for projects undertaken during 2010.
Deadline for submitting complete applications is March 5, 2010.
