Materia Inspiration Centre Amsterdam will open in April 2011. The focus of the Centre will be on the exchange of inspiration and knowledge in the field of innovative materials and techniques.
With a total area of 1400 m2 the Centre will contain material samples, interactive knowledge sharing, thematic exhibitions, lectures, workshops, flexible workplaces, a library, plus the entire archive of the thousands of Materia samples all collected at a central location.
The Centre will be in collaboration with umbrella organisations and other related groups in the materials and manufacturing industry. The Centre expects thousands of professionals to visit each year.
The unique combination of independent and partner content allows access to the Centre to be free of charge and so will attract a maximum number of visitors.
