SEGD Recognized Douglas Morris as 2014 Fellow

Douglas Morris, Principal of Poulin + Morris, has been named this year's recipient of the SEGD Fellow Award. Awarded annually, the SEGD Fellow recognizes a designer who promotes the highest values in experiential graphic design and makes a significant contribution to growth in the field.

As Co-founder, Design Director, and Principal of Poulin + Morris Inc., Douglas Morris has directed visual communications programs for clients including ABC News, Ann Taylor, Barnard College, The City University of New York, CNN, College of William & Mary, Columbia University, Fordham Law School, Free Library of Philadelphia, Goldman Sachs & Co., Hines, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Jones Lang LaSalle, Madison Square Garden, Mason School of Business, National Museum of African American History and Culture, National Museum of American Jewish History, Newseum Freedom Forum, New York Hospital Queens, New York Public Radio, New York University, Penn State University, Princeton University, Revel Entertainment, Samsung Corporation, Smithsonian Institution, Time Warner, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, WGBH Educational Foundation, and The Wharton School of Business.

His work has been published in periodicals and books worldwide and has received awards from American Corporate Identity, American Institute of Architects (AIA), The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), Applied Arts, Boston Art Directors Club, Global Corporate Identity, Graphic Design USA, Graphis, and Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD). He is also coauthor of Wayfinding: Designing and Implementing Graphic Navigational Systems, published by RotoVision.
