Adobe Launches First Creative Cloud Accelerator to Inspire UX Innovation

Adobe has announced its first incubator for Creative Cloud, a new Plugin Accelerator within the Adobe Fund for Design. The accelerator will feature an intensive, ninety-day program that provides funding and resources to individuals and teams with unique visions for the future of creativity to build plugins for Adobe XD.

Participants will get office space at Adobe headquarters in San Francisco; access to Adobe's product, design and engineering teams; and a $20,000 stipend (per person) to offset their expenses.

Following the launch of the Adobe Fund for Design and the open developer ecosystem in Adobe XD last year, Adobe has been inspired by the immense creativity and productivity that has been unlocked within XD. The platform provides a space for designers and developers to iterate on top of the tools they use every day, while also innovate to stay ahead in the rapidly changing and expanding experience design world. The accelerator is geared toward those who want to make a mark on the design ecosystem by bringing their ambitious ideas to life, to ultimately inspire more voices in the experience design industry and new ways of thinking about design.

The deadline for applications is May 10, 2019.
