Casa Rex developed a new packaging design for the Dove Advanced Care deodorant range in the Latin American market. The project consisted of the redesign of the variants in aerosol, roll-on and stick formats for Dermo Aclarant and Hair Minimising.
The visual identity had to take into account the advanced functional attributes offered by the range - the recovery of natural skin tone for Dermo Aclarant; and that lasting feeling of having recently shaved, for Hair Minimising. Casa Rex worked on the visual structure of the packaging, retaining key characteristics that identified the deodorant range and adding new inspiring elements that are intrinsic to premium contemporary visual codes.
"For the aerosol version, for example, the chromatic colour palette was reduced, and the cap and bottle were coordinated with a pearlised finish, resulting in an overall concept that is clean and uncluttered," said Gustavo Piqueira, head of the design consultancy as well as the creative director on the project.
