The 2017 Design Management Institute Symposium will be held March 8-9 at the BMW Welt Business Center in Munich. The focus of the event is "Smart Innovation: Connecting Design to Strategy," an introduction into the value of design as a means to clarify business strategy, align organizations, and catalyze innovation.
Companies today must contend with unprecedented technological and business complexities. Design simplifies and humanizes complex systems, clarifies business strategy, aligns organizations, and is a catalyst for innovation.
The Symposium format will combine both keynote sessions and group breakout discussions so that attendees may interact and network in smaller working groups. The event includes an interactive workshop: Design Thinking and Innovation Management.
