HUGE Design has received two 2018 IDEA GOLD Awards at last week's IDSA Awards Gala in New Orleans. HUGE won awards for the Intel SSD NAND in the Commercial & Industrial Products category, and for VetScan VUE in the category of Medical & Health.
The Intel SSD NAND system was part of a two year collaboration with Intel's Experience Centered Design Team to rethink data center storage. Built for data centers, it gives customers an SSD with high per-drive, per-server, and per-rack capacity. Its new form factor with the intuitive latch provides improved manageability and serviceability in tandem with efficient thermal design to reduce maintenance costs and completely disrupt the total cost of ownership.
The Abaxis VetScan VUE is the first app-based diagnostic instrument in the veterinary marketplace. Paired with patented Rapid Test cartridges and the VUE mobile app, veterinarians are now able to quickly scan patient samples, diagnose life-threatening diseases and automatically document the results in a fraction of the time previously needed.
