IC Design has created the brand platform, website and collateral for coaching company Will It Make The Boat Go Faster?, founded by British Olympic Gold Medallist Ben Hunt-Davis, MBE and Tom Barry.
Following on from Ben's successful book with the same title, Ben and Tom set up the business in 2012 to help organizations and teams apply Olympic-winning strategies to improve their performance.
The starting point for the whole brand was the book jacket from which IC Design re-drew a clearer logotype and created a fresh and colourful identity that would appeal to a corporate client base whilst still having a distinctive and energetic brand personality. The graphic patterns are not just attractive but form a key part of the course materials.
The website is built on the Umbraco Content Management System (CMS) with key components already in place for future expansion and commercialization of the site. Website highlights include a moderated blog, photo and video galleries and a bespoke survey poll with full client control over archiving, publishing and content. The CMS also features reusable widgets throughout, enabling the client more control over content sections on individual pages. The second phase of the website will see a comprehensive content library with searchable, tiered access content integrated into the shop and premium content for subscribers.
