Slice Design has created a revamped branding for Cypressa's range of Spanish Pickles, Cornichons and Jalapeños. Cypressa has been successfully trading in the UK since 1965 and is known for it's exceptional quality mediterranean goods. The new branding unites the portfolio and aims to bring the range together under a cohesive brand identity.
A central theme to the Cypressa story is the rich heritage of the founding Katsouris brothers. The redesign now emphasises Cypressa's family heritage by including the founding date across pack communication to draw the consumers attention to the high quality of Cypressa's products. One of the most significant updates to the range was adding the new Cypressa logo, which helps to emphasise the heritage and expertise of the founding Katsouris brothers.
The antipasti range was lacking in shelf standout and a wholistic feel across the portfolio. By updating the pack navigation, bringing in traditional mediterranean colours and updating the logo type to a more 'modern mediterranean' font the redesign has increased the premium feel of the brand.
