The 2017 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) is now open for submissions. IDEA is a premier international design competition sponsored annually by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and judged by renowned design experts from around the world.
The competition recognizes and promotes excellence across a widre array of industries and disciplines, including commercial products, entertainment, home goods, social impact designs and student designs.
The 2017 IDEA includes two new categories: Branding (Identities, Collateral, Additional Logo Applications) and Consumer Technology (Phones & VOIP, Earpieces & Headsets, Accessories, Desktops, Notebooks, Ultra-Mobiles, Tablets, Input Devices, Peripherals, and Concepts & Prototypes).
The deadline for entries is March 3, with a late deadline of March 17, 2017.
