    Umeå Institute of Design Digital Graduate Exhibition 2021

    On June 1st, Umeå Institute of Design's graduating students will present their degree projects - ranging from autonomous taxi boats in the year 2086, to a crisis device for producing your own electricity, to a culinary tasting box with edible insects. The grad projects can be explored in the virtual 'UID21 | Project Gallery,' presenting a 360-degree view of all works, including; concept videos, images, interactive 3D models and prototypes.

The bi-monthly series will feature experts across all disciplines of design, creativity, and branding, exploring the evolution and interrelation of design, creative culture, and global society, in addition to personal stories and tips for people navigating careers in the design field.

    The 2021 Green Good Design Awards are now open for submissions. Organized by the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, the awards program aims to recognize outstanding individuals, companies, organizations, governments, and institutions - together with their products, services, programs, ideas, and concepts - that have forwarded exceptional thinking and inspired greater progress toward a healthier and more sustainable universe.
